My career

I first started in Compensation & Benefits with Unilever in 2003. What a ride that was!

Here’s my story so far: 

  • I began my career as a Reward Manager

    – Maghreb (in Morocco )

  • Then promoted to Learning and Talent Manager

    – Maghreb (in Morocco)

  • Again promoted to Change Manager

    - North Africa (in Morocco)

  • Moved to a Senior Human Resources Business Partner

    – Maghreb (in Morocco)

  • Loved being the Senior Reward Manager

    - MENA Region (in UAE)

  • Ended as a Regional Reward & Wellbeing Director

    - MENA, Turkey, Iran & Russia (in UAE)

  • I then began my HR Consultancy

    - Bakkal Consultancy (in UAE)

Right after leaving Unilever, I created my Compensation & Benefits consultancy firm in Oct 2022.

My achievements at work

Designed and implemented the Compensation & Benefits strategy across 17 countries, 10k+ employees (Middle East and North Africa, Turkey, Iran, Russia)

My mission

I help GCC-based organizations, in any industry, to mitigate salary challenges internally and versus their competitors. I’m driven by a sense of justice and equity, ensuring that compensation practices are fair & transparent. I get a strong sense of accomplishment knowing that my expertise makes a difference in people's lives and in the success of organizations.

My vision

My vision is to support organizations in the Gulf region to achieve and sustain success through top talent retention. Their success contributes to the progress of the economy in each of the Gulf countries: UAE, KSA, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait.
